Good lord I haven't updated this thing in AGES. I know I'm interesting and everyone is dying to read my every word (are those crickets I hear?). So I log into livejournal for the first time in FOREVER (what can I say I'm a sellout...damn Myspace) and I realize that the last time I logged in I still worked at Super 8...damn that was a while ago. I'd bother telling you what I've been doing since then but really why bother since no one reads this anyways and anyone who DOES already knows what I've been up to. Sears (bitches), Family Christian (*sigh*), and Ticketmaster. I know three jobs right? But in my defense I still work at two of them and Sears is a very ugly place to work (but I'm forgiving them for firing me I mean where else can yuo get a pair of Chucks for 19.99?) and Family Christian has its moments. Ticketmaster is good for me. I can really be me there (decide for yourself if that's a good thing or not). I've had a week though. I'd tell you why but its none of your business so don't ask (well you can and I even might tell you). So far this week I've seen a crazy man chase a car down the road while screaming obscenities (that was after he threw a glass bottle at the car), walked into Tami's house and it had been ransacked, got sent an application for AARP (and I'm far from Senior status thanks - hilarious though), and DUDE it's only Wednesday. So I make no guarantees about when I'll update this thing again but goodbye for now.

For once when I do something for someone I'd appreciate a thank you (and if you're reading this be glad in the knowledge that it ain't you). So I had a really boring night to start out with, but with the help of a friend it all turned around (woot!). I had a teacher in HS tell me once that "only boring people get bored"...well obviously she never worked at Super 8 among other things. Well, I'm going to get some rest. HOLLA! Got to work today so call me at work (not on my celly until after 7) if you need me or just wanna talk.

Well, so I'm going to actually make this journal useful for a change. So, I've been struggling a bit lately with the complete and total lack of direction (and this is so not me feeling sorry for myself this is me being realistic). Am I destined to work at Super 8 for the rest of my life? (please no) Does God have something else planned for me. Do I just have to wait or is there some action I need to take to make it happen? I'd like to know. God, you can read this so if you can send a sign or something (you can do that and I can ask for that right?) Am I where I'm at for a reason? I was reading this book...and it asked me "What makes you pound the table?" and to be honest I don't know if I have an answer. There are tons of things I love to do, but do any of them really tell me where I'm going to work or what I'm going to do with my life? So I think I'll use this to sort it all out. What am I passionate about? I love to sing. Just ask anyone who has to endure car rides, movies (especially ones with lots of music) or even phone conversations with me (Will you shut up? I'm trying to talk to you and how can you be listening to me if you're singing?). I'm passionate about my friendships with people. Jeanne and Tami are my partners in ummm..not crime exactly but whatever lol. Adam and Kristi may be our youth leaders but even when Adam makes me mad I know he has a good heart and usually doesn't mean it...Kristi makes me laugh and she's always good to have around when I need an ear. Amy...*sigh* lol. If you found yourself not listed there do NOT be offended. I love you too (but seriously I don't know enough people so I seriously don't think I missed anyone). So what makes me pound the table? Not sure yet...I'll get back to you.

So it's been a bit since I've updated and tons of things have happened to me. Linsey came home this week. Acted like her normal diva self. DRAMA. You give people an inch and they take a mile. You do things for them and it's not enough. Thankfully, not everyone in my life is like that. I went to see "Batman Begins" with her and Tony on Friday. Mightily enjoyed it. If you get the chance to see it, do it. Christian Bale is great as Bruce Wayne. YEC was last weekend. I loved it (mostly). The speaker was really good and me and Tami got to go the adult class, which was interesting and kind of scary. I'm not sure I'm ready to be an "adult" yet lol. Look like it's not optional. I've been really struggling to be the person that God wants me to be lately, but I have to admit that it's hard because sometimes it gets in the way of what I want for myself. Lately, everything seems like a sin. So I feel like I just need to become a monk, because what kind of trouble can you get into in a monastery? Do you think they'd let me watch "Veronica Mars" in there? It's a sin to miss an episode. I'm sure that's in the bible somewhere. If not I'm sure God meant to put that in there somewhere. I got some really good CD's. Check out Seven Places and Shawn Mcdonald and also "Cry on My Shoulder" by Overflow (I ordered the CD so I'll let you know if I like it or not). (Hey Tami I saw a soundtrack at FC today by Building429 called "Glory Defined" is that song good?) Anyways, to wrap it up I... watched "Seed of Chucky" (it was just a little slip) JENNIFER TILLY! JENNIFER TILLY!, bought some new sunglasses today (my other ones broke *sigh*), had some good food at Applebee's, got out of that meeting at work (thank you Jesus that was much appreciated BTW), and now I'm biding my time until work. More later....

I'm excited. I just recieved Sufjan Stevens new cd which wasn't supposed to be shipped for two more weeks. "Illinois" is his best album yet IMO. Thank you Asthamtic Kitty. WOO HOO! Alright I'm going to go watch "Lost" now. More later...

So here's where I wax poetic (not really) about this tv season... I totally deserve my own column.
American Idol... This has to be the most boring season yet. I seriously stopped watching after Mario left. He so would have won. Carrie and Bo...who shall it be? Or better yet..who cares? I'm saying Bo is going to win, but if he does...can someone please fix his split ends? They put him on TV in front of 20+ million people and he has split ends. To prove I'm not the only person to notice this phenomenon go to http://www.zap2it.com and look at TV Gal's column.
Charmed....oh uneven season. It started out with the avatars then moved on to Zankou. Is it just me or did the whole avatar storyline seem more like an overall season arc? This has probably been my least favorite season, but last night's finale was great. If they would have ended the series like that, then I could have dealt with it nicely. The plus is it had a great ending, and lead to what I think it going to make a most interesting season 8.
Desparate Housewives...LOVED the season finale. It all went down the way I thought it would, however what's up with Alfre Woodard? OPEN THE DOOR! My only problem is how unlikable they've made Gabrielle. LOVE Eva Longoria, and I hear she's getting a new love interest next season so we'll see how it goes.

I had a really crappy night at work. Why do people have to be assholes for? *sigh* I'd give details but I'm not in the mood. First Listen sent me Kyle Riabko's CD today though. WOW...nice vocals...great instrumentation. The boy is mad talented. He plays a ton of instruments, he has an amazing voice. It's a good debut. Everyone should really listen to it. I just thought I'd give a quick update I'm EXHAUSTED.

I have vowed to not go all spoilery in my livejournal for the sake of those who haven't yet to see it yet, but I will say that last nights Veronica Mars was AMAZING. The scene with Keith and V where she signed the papers was totally moving...I'm sorry it was lol. Watched "Phantom" with Tami and she loved it like I totally figured she would. She mentioned we should totally have a musical night with me never have actually watched "Rocky Horror Picture Show" or "Little shop of horrors" and she has never seen "Moulin Rouge". Cool idea IMO. I'll bring the popcorn (Sorry T lol). Well I think I'm going to go watch "House" before I go to bed. I want to get to bed so I can go to church tonight with me not getting to go on Sunday with that retchid 12 hour shift. BLAH. I'll update again later.

So I watched two movies last night... Phantom of the Opera and Raising Helen. Phantom was pretty good. It was a little tedious and way too long, but the sets were amazing and I love the music. Emmy Rossum is gorgeous and did an amazing job as Christine. I don't think I would've liked the film without her. Also, is it just me or did the Phantom look to pretty or something? It was like he had a bad allergic reaction or a rash or something. He should've been uglier. And why was Minnie Driver in it? I didn't hate her but if you can't sing (actually she can sing but she just didn't in this movie) then why even be in it? Also, Phantom's voice left a bit to be desired... On to "Raising Helen" which I liked...it had Aiden err...John Corbett in it and come on Kate Hudson what's not to like? Sure it was predictable, but it had a few funny moments and it was pretty good. Was it Tami who told me she watched this? Well if it was you were right it was good. Next up I'm going to watch "The Fifth Element" I know it's not knew but can you believe I've never seen the whole movie? Just bits and pieces. Not enough to get the whole thing.

So I watched Veronica Mars earlier and WHOA! Duncan did it! Which is kind of what I suspected. I just wasn't sure why. Turns out he and V were both drugged...Logan drugged Duncan and that bitch Madison (trip to the dentist...eww!) drugged V. The scene between Logan and V was whoa...and the end totally confused me. What's up w/ the videotape? Did Haaron have something do w/ it? Can't wait till next week. I'm off Tuesday too. God must have known. :) I also watched House (Cameron's back and wow she's hot but that damn Sela Ward is gonna come in and ruin everything). I'm about to go finish watching Gilmore Girls and then I'm gonna hit the sack. Oh and apparently I'm not supposed to mention a certain person in this live journal...so I'll use a code name for him from now on....TL as in Tami's Lovah (how u like that HA!). Alright I'm out...

So Tami Jo in an effort to get me to actually update this thing made it pretty...it's pretty eh? SMG in all her glory and blue too which coincidentally is my absolute favorite color...you so can't go wrong with that. So I was just in my room watching Everwood and being overwhelmed (I'm a total marshmallow) by all the tearjerkeriness (I'm not a cryer for the record) and I thought I'd come in here to get it over with (okay not really). So what's new with me? I've been chillin with J a lot lately, with her being home now (I know I'm not excited...okay maybe a little...I've already sent your application to WVSU lol) and Tami of course (she's consistent that way). Gave Tami mucho hell about CJ (XOXOXOXOXO hahaha). I know you don't feel complete if you don't get to talk to him (maybe you're the marshmallow T). Worked a lot (we do have those fancy bagels now so work just totally went up a point in my love/hate scales - what can I say I like bagels). Read a few books. Watched Miracles (the best show that was cancelled before it's time damn ABC). Sex and the City (seen em all now - thanks to J some eps more than once lol). Been catching up on my DVR I totally had some eps of Boston Legal on there from January (Denny Crane!) I miss that show (damn ABC). While I'm damning ABC I have to give them props though because I do like Grey's Anatomy (I really want the theme song though and I so can't find it anywhere). Listened to lots of good tunes...Muse, Sufjan Stevens, Feist, etc. OH OH OH!

WATCHED Reefer Madness like too many times. I put every song on my IPOD and I sadly know every song by heart. Shantrace called me earlier and I actually answered for a change (good thing she never reads this). She was like it's a good thing you answered I was about to delete you from my phone book. Not sure if that would be a total bad thing though. She kind of stresses me out. She hates Tami (how anyone could hate someone with a face like that lol). She hates Jeanne (refer to previous sentence). Blah. Keri moved (damn lesbians) like a half a block away when someone broke into her house and stole nothing (maybe they found her strap on that would scare me off). Justin got a job at Go Mart (five bucks says he won't last another two weeks if that). I finished paying off my Missions Trip (look out SC you have no idea what's in store for you). Okay Everwood's paused and I don't wanna miss anymore.... I'll leave you with a word of advice...Leave the Stuff alone. Do you really wanna end up like Jimmy?

So after much consideration I've decided to start writing in this thing again. So first off let me just fill ya'll in on what's current with me. Apparently I'm not supportive or ambitious enough for someone out there. Sorry about that. I guess me being me isn't good enough. Your loss. On another note, whatever you do do not ever watch this movie called "Ghost Watchers" cause it's bad folks. I'm saving you two hours of your life here. There's a little piece of advice to start off the new year for you all. So I've been pretty busy lately working like every friggin day. Wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't working like 8 hours going home for 8 and then back for 8. It's tiring, but the money's better this way. So no complaints. I'll try to update this thing more when I get the chance.

There's so many things that have happened to me since the last time I updated this thing. Since I can't seem to keep it updated I'm closing it down for good. Reminds me of that saying that goes....If A tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound. So if no one ever checks this thing anyways, then this message is pointless because no one sees it. Oh well...

Okay so TECHNICALLY the fourth is over it's more like the fifth but since this is my journal and I haven't gone to bed yet for all intents and purposes it's still the 4th to me. Anyways, so I had to work today and that sucked. It's been a rough week for lots of reasons, but for those of you wondering I'm feeling much better and since my vacation is in TWO WEEKS along with some other things that no one really cares about...okay not really JEANNE's B-DAY and also April's going to be 22 so hey let's hear it for the twenty somethings!!! Keri will be in for like 4 days and I miss my sissy. Don't laugh or I'll kick your ass. So I keep neglecting this damn journal, SO.... i'll make a vow to update ATLEAST twice a week. I'm out...
